Security Officer required for a minimum of 40 rostered hours per week covering several aviation sites in and around Dyce, Aberdeen. The successful applicant will receive an hourly wage ranging from 7.95 to 9.25 plus additional benefits. What we offer:

About your new role: As a security officer covering various aviation sites in Aberdeen and surrounding areas, your primary duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Passenger body and bag searching
- Ramp duties
- Answering incoming calls and internal calls
- Conducting regular internal and external patrols
- Checking CCTV
- Access control
- Responding to and recording all incidents in the Daily Occurrence Book
- Regular report writing
- Completing the required security checks
- Providing assistance and support to our client on site
- Protecting valuable property and equipment
- Provide customer service to all visitors and contractors on site
Skills & Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5 years checkable employment history
- Frontline SIA Licence
- Full, valid driver s licence, own transport and scope to travel
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and at short notice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Industry experience
- First aid

Completing daily paperwork, daily staff briefings & debriefings. Provide guidance and leadership for staff members. Conducting appraisals / evaluations for direct reporting employees as required.
Training of staff including ensuring that all training requirements are achieved. Monitoring manning levels. Maintain the required professional standards of operation in accordance with company requirements.

Attending and managing all security related incidents including fire evacuation and conflict management including physical intervention. Assisting the Management to carry out investigations Responsible for comprehensive report writing in relation to incidents.
Escalate incidents to ICTS management Ensure standing orders are read, understood and signed. Recommend to Management required changes to standing orders.
Ensure all security documentation is filled in correctly. Ensure Home Office and ICTS Management are briefed on site activities on a daily basis. Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy PERSON SPECIFICATION

Security Supervisor – ICTS
The British Library
is a national treasure. Home to 3,000 years of history, its collections
(containing everything from manuscripts to music scores and prints to patents)
are an infinitely valuable resource used by 16,000 people a day. Not
surprisingly, keeping our staff, visitors and collections safe is of paramount
importance to us. The library is a busy, vibrant and interesting environment to
work in. And if your skills match the ones we re looking for, you could soon be
enjoying it first-hand. As part of a
uniformed security team, you ll help to provide a secure environment for people
working in or visiting our St. Pancras site by helping to provide a 24/7
security operation. You ll be expected to cover a wide range of tasks including
reception, escorting and control room duties. The role will also involve
deployment within the Public Areas and hence extensive interaction with
visitors and readers.
Ideally holding valid
SIA CCTV and Door Supervisors Licences, you will need to have a flexible
approach to your duties and possess strong customer service skills. You ll also
be able to deal with others patiently and fairly, work as part of a team, have
great written and verbal communication skills and be able to apply common sense
in any situation. You ll also be able
to demonstrate your reliability, attention to detail, a good level of health
and fitness and the ability to make tough decisions whilst under pressure.
Previous experience in a similar role and good IT skills would also be of
